Never heard of Gargazon? Then it’s high time you paid us a visit! The name is said to refer to the gurgling of the Aschler Bach stream, which flows from high on the mountain down to Gargazon. We are also known as the garden village. Apple meadows, terraced vineyards and green for as far as the eye can see. Behind the village, red porphyry crags rise into the heavens. They give our wines minerality and a fine fruity flavour.

Visitors like coming to Gargazon, because we are little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the town and yet still quite close to the state capital of Bolzano and the spa town of Merano.
