Our KOMODO Camping in Gargazon is in the perfect spot for adventurous campers. Whether you're passing through or come here for a longer stay – even at night time we’re easy to find, right by the MEBO exit between Bolzano and Merano.

The idyllic village centre of Gargazon is only a couple of minutes’ walk from our camping ground. You can find lots of useful services and enjoyable things to do here: from the camper service and supermarket to the delicatessen and bakery through to a shoe shop, pizzeria, snack bar and organic restaurant.

The chemical-free Gargazon natural outdoor pool, apple trail, tennis courts with bar, skating park, Gargazon bus and train station with connections to the state capital of Bolzano (21 km) and the spa town of Merano (11 km) and everything in between are only a stone’s throw away from our camp site.

Have you got your bike with you and want to saddle up? From our camp site you can get started straight away on your cycling adventure, be it in leisurely fashion through apple orchards, flowing uphill over the Tschögglberg to the Stoanerne Mandln, along the Etsch cycle path to Merano and Bolzano, or on a tasting tour along the legendary South Tyrolean Wine Road to name just a few... so let’s go!

INTO THE NATURAL POOL

...quite literally! Gargazon natural outdoor pool is just around the corner and offers the purest swimming enjoyment in natural water, with no added chlorine or chemicals.

Instead, there are water lilies, dragonflies, lots of shade-giving trees and a cosy bistro with a sun terrace here. As a camp site we have been extremely lucky with our location – and our guests even more so!
